| To All...
Well we are back from the Lake George Corvette Show and we
all had a great time. We had three cars from NGCA there for
the three day affair. On Saturday, we did both a 2 hour boat
cruise and later completed a 113 mile rally through the beautiful,
windy, scenic, bear-less (no Smokies) Adirondack Mountains.
The NGCA was represented by the Hetman’s, Leppien’s
and Garrity’s. The Garrity’s melted the asphalt
as we blazed through the Adirondacks, they even blew down a
few pine trees. The Leppien’s kept one eye on the ever
shrinking Torch Red C5 Rag Top and the other eye looking for
clues for the Rally. The Hetman’s kept up the rear looking
for missed clues and dodging all the limbs and trees blown
down by that Red C5 blurr....
For some reason, we weren’t able to get all 50 rally
clues and have no idea why we didn’t win. But we sure
had fun trying... Sunday, was the actual show with 80 -100
Corvette beauties on display. We entered our C5 in the open
hood class and took a second place finish. We lost first place
due to a dirty gas filler cap and some sand underneath our
driver side carpet. We learned from that one. "I guess
I’ll change gas stations eh?"
Happy Vetting....
