Cape Cod Trip
 
In May of 2001, the NGCA entered 11 cars in the Cape Cod Fun Rally. The rally was broken into two groups. One group was for folks new to the Cape Cod area and the second group was for folks familiar to the area. The Rally took you to 10 of the most scenic sites in the Cape Cod, where you were to pick up clues while minimizing the miles traveled to obtain these clues. Mileage was added for any errors or missing clues so care was required at each stop. Al and Jane Engel won in the experienced class, while the Hetmans, Caranos, and Hobbies won in the newbie class. The winners completed the rally within a distance of 114-116 miles of the most beautiful scenery in the Cape Cod region.

We all look forward to the 2002 Rally coming up on the weekend of May 18th, 2002. On the way home we stopped at a nearby Vintage Car Museum followed by a stop at US Naval Sub Museum in Groton, Conn.
